I have nearly 500 aircraft colour slides dating from the 1960s that
have a very bad purple colour cast.

If I had the time and expertise, I could scan them, attempt some
correction using Photoshop software, and save as image files, but
that wouldn't rescue the slides themselves. In the short term I
would like to arrest or reverse the defects, perhaps using chemical
treatment. The slide mounts are all branded Gevacolor.

If anyone has useful knowledge, or knows how to access other help,
I welcome any contact or correspondence.

The final destination for the slides will be the Air-Britain colour
photographic archive.
